Our CSR Commitments>Raising Awareness & Supporting the Territory
Since 2012, we’ve been offering visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the Ski Area:
These experiences show what happens behind the scenes, help visitors meet the people who run the resort, and open conversations about environmental topics.
In the 2024–2025 winter season, over 390 participants met our teams.
Since 2010, we’ve been raising awareness about waste reduction by removing all bins from the ski area. Signs on picnic tables remind skiers of this policy.
Bad weather (wind, snow) can scatter waste, and wildlife may be attracted to leftovers, disturbing natural feeding habits.
That’s why we encourage everyone to take their waste back down to Valmorel village and use the sorting bins.

Since 2013, we’ve organized an annual waste-collection day with pupils from nearby towns (Doucy, Les Avanchers, Aigueblanche).
The goal: teach children about environmental protection and promote good waste-reduction practices.
In 2025, 300 kg of waste were collected on the slopes.

As a major employer in Valmorel, we take our responsibility for jobs and employee wellbeing seriously.
In 2024:
Employee Transport Solutions
We’ve set up several carpooling shuttles for staff to reduce carbon emissions.
For a 13 km trip (Aigueblanche–Valmorel), thermal buses save 1.59 kg CO₂-eq per employee.
With 179 employees, that’s a meaningful impact.
