The role of the Ski Patrol

Ski patrollers work every day to ensure your safety on the slopes. First on the mountain at dawn, they inspect the entire ski area, check signage, identify risk zones, and make sure conditions are safe before opening. When needed, they even carry out avalanche control—sometimes using explosives.

Throughout the day, they respond to injured skiers, coordinate evacuations, and stay in constant contact with dispatch to adjust trail openings and closures based on real-time conditions.
