FOR RIDERS SEEKING AN ADRENALINE RUSH!
Start from Valmorel with the Pierrafort gondola, located in the Crève-Cœur hamlet.
After exiting the gondola, strap on your skis and off you go! Continue the ascent towards the Mottet chairlift.
At the top of the Mottet chairlift, take a moment to admire the 360° view of Mont Blanc, the Belleville Valley, and the Lauzière. To the right of the chairlift exit, you’ll spot a photo point. Don’t miss the chance to capture this moment!
Turn left after exiting the chairlift and launch yourself onto the Mottet Freeride! A challenging black run with moguls!
Continue the descent on the red run of the Mottet Combe. At the top of the Pierrafort gondola, turn right onto the blue run of Les Lanches.
Follow the run to the Gollet draglift. Grab a T-bar and head for the Col du Gollet. In 5 minutes, you’ll be at the top.
Your choice: black, red, or the Gollet Freeride? All three descents promise different but intense thrills! If you can’t decide, why not try all three?
After one—or several—intense descent(s), head to the Pierrafort gondola. Once at the top, make your way to the Mottet chairlift.
Turn right after exiting the Mottet chairlift and head to the legendary Riondet draglift! Snowboarders, take note: bring a skier to help you on the flat section, or use the Pélèves tow rope. This remote draglift is a dream for advanced skiers seeking adventure!
To warm up, take the Riondet black run alongside the draglift. Then, (re)take the Riondet draglift to—this time—head for the Riondet Freeride. This run is accessible after a short traverse (snowboarders, hang in there—it’s worth it!).
At the end of the path, you’ll find one of the most challenging and stunning runs in the Grand Domaine!
After a sporty descent, relax and take the blue run of the Grande Combe, then the Valette run towards the Madeleine chairlift.
At the top of the Madeleine chairlift, take the blue run of the Grande Combe. After a few metres, to your right, you’ll find the Procureuse Freeride. A demanding and playful black run—get ready for moguls!
Return to the base of the Madeleine chairlift via the blue run of the Madeleine. Ready for another round? At the top of the Madeleine chairlift, take the blue run of the Col towards Saint-François Longchamp. Stay to the right for the green Route du Tour run. This long, flat path passes the famous Col de la Madeleine and leads to the foot of the Lauzière chairlift.
Take the Lauzière chairlift and enjoy the breathtaking view over the Maurienne Valley. Keep an eye out—you might spot alpine garden gnomes!
At the top, take the red Colombe run. After a few metres, to your right, a wall marks the entrance to the black Lauzière run. After descending, retake the Lauzière chairlift.
Back at the top of the Lauzière, retake the red Colombe run to return to the Col de la Madeleine and Valmorel.
Plan your return to Valmorel station before 3:30 PM.
