Explore the Grand Domaine with kids, following the trail of the Pirates of Valmorel
Departure from Valmorel Village via the Planchamp gondola, at the end of the Bourg pedestrian street.
At the top, head straight and first discover the PIRATE VILLAGE: accessible from 2 years old on foot or skis, it’s a fun area where the whole family can meet, in the sun, surrounded by the most beautiful slopes!
While little brother enjoys the slide here, go and explore the other themed areas of Valmorel.
Head towards the Biollène chairlift:
At the top, stop and strike a pose in front of the photo spot with the Lauzière range and the Madeleine pass in the background.
Just below the top of the Biollène chairlift, take on the Pirates’ boardercross (level S).
A series of whoops and banked turns for thrilling sensations.
In this area, take a second ride on the Biollène chairlift to visit the Pirates’ snowpark: 2 zones are available based on your level, on each side of the blue COMBE DE BEAUDIN slope.
Heading over to the St Francois-Longchamp side, accessible via the Madeleine chairlift and the Mollaret, discover Boris’ Den
Or take the Opoualand slope, from the Blue Moon chairlift.
For lunch break, meet up with grandpa, grandma, and little brother in the Pirate Village and enjoy a picnic in the sun all together.
After recharging, head towards the Morel slope to access the Pierrafort sector.
At the top of the gondola of the same name, it’s the start of the Pirates’ Trail that winds its way down to Valmorel:
