The Grand Domaine ski area offers 165 km of pistes, , which combines Valmorel, Saint-François-Longchamp, Doucy and the less well-known Col de la Madeleine, offers skiers a sunny ski area with 165km of pistes. The skiing ranges from easy pistes on gentle pastures and exciting runs through the forests to the challenging slopes of the high mountain peaks.
The Grand Domaine offers genuinely varied skiing for all abilities. The link between the two main ski areas of Valmorel and Saint-François-Longchamp via the Col de la Madeleine is accessible to skiers of all levels and all ages.
There's plenty of space for everyone at Valmorel, so the pistes are safe and never over-crowded. The ski area (165km of pistes) is relatively large for the amount of resort accommodation.
The Grand Domaine has 18 leisure zones specially designed to provide fun activities for all levels and ages! The Pirate Village, at the heart of the ski area, is great for younger children, when teenagers will want to hang out in the snowpark and cruise the freeride and boardercross runs...
There are dedicated safe areas for beginners and timid skiers who want to find their ski legs before venturing further afield on Valmorel's fabulous pistes.
