Stage 1

An original souvenir photo:

Take a photo in the brand new Planchamp cable car! But hurry, it only takes 4 minutes to get to the top!

Stage 2: The Tour stage 🚲

Did you know?

If you ski from Valmorel, you can reach the legendary Tour de France pass, the Col de la Madeleine, without even pedalling!

Stage 3

Do you prefer bucolic walks in the forest?

On foot, on snowshoes or on skis, from the top of the Combelouvière chairlift, you can make your way to the village of Doucy through the fir trees.

Stage 4

Itinéraire ski Valmorel

Here’s one of our favourite spots to immortalise your stay in Valmorel:

From the top of the Lanchettes chairlift, or from the Gelaz drag lift, head towards Doucy to skirt the ridge overlooking the village of Valmorel and the Lanchettes slope. From here, you’ll have a panoramic view of the resort, dominated by the emblematic Niélard mountain.

By the way, what do you see on the profile of this rock? A dog’s head or the head of Christ?

Stage 5

Admire the most beautiful peaks in the Vanoise and, of course, Mont Blanc! To do so, head to the Col du Mottet at an altitude of 2400m, accessible by the 6-seater chairlift of the same name. Reserved for good skiers (red or black slopes only), this viewpoint is also open to pedestrians, who can make the round trip via the Pierrafort gondola and the Mottet chairlifts.

Don’t hesitate to ask the ski patrollers based up there for a detailed panorama of the peaks around you 😀

Stage 6

Itinéraire ski Valmorel

For those nostalgic for “Les Bronzés font du ski” movie, there’s a photo opportunity “made in Valmorel”: at the top of the Morel and Biollène chairlifts, on the Arenouillaz plateau, you’re guaranteed an unusual photo, with the majestic Lauzière range in the background!
