Discover the brand new DVA PARK!
Are you an off-piste skier and have an avalanche beacon?
But do you know how to use it?

Since winter 2022-23, the Valmorel Ski Area has made available a new training area at the top of the Pierrafort gondola. Open to all, professionals or amateurs, the DVA Park allows you to train to search for several victims in a well-defined area, as quickly as possible.

NEW for winter season 2020/21:

The new Biollene 6-seater chairlift

The Biollène intermediate skiers zone has been updated with a brand new 6 seater high-speed chairlift, which replaces the old slow 4-seater and two drag lifts. Overall 40 pylons have been removed making a large, safe zone at the heart of the ski area.

And what's more, all these improvements have been carried out by local Savoie companies.

Improvement of the Malatrai beginner zone.

The Malatrai beginner zone is being modernised with the covering of the Roches Blanches carpet. This means that you can enjoy a superb view of the surrounding peaks while being in a suitable place if you are a beginner skier!

Extension of the snow network on Doucy.

Valmorel is linked to the small resort of Doucy.

The ridge that joins Doucy from Valmorel has been equipped with snow guns this summer to ensure a safe and enjoyable return to the resort.

Contactless purchase & recharging.

Two brand new « SKIPASS EXPRESS » areas with self-service skipass purchase and reloading terminals have been installed in Doucy and Crève-Cœur and are accessible during extended opening hours.

The Altispace chairlift becomes the Planchamp gondola!

More comfort, more speed, more reliability in terms of weather conditions... there are no more superlatives for this important and structuring modernisation project for the Valmorel resort!

Equipped with 10-seater gondolas, the Planchamp gondola will take you to the heart of Valmorel's snow garden in less than 5 minutes, to the delight of skiers and pedestrians alike, winter and summer alike.
