Touring the Grand Domaine with children, following in the footsteps of the Pirates of Valmorel

Stage 1
Departure from Valmorel Village via the Planchamp gondola, at the end of the pedestrianised Rue du Bourg.
At the top, go straight on and discover the PIRATES VILLAGE: accessible from the age of 2 on foot or skis, this is the fun zone where the whole family can meet up, in the sun, in the middle of the most beautiful slopes!
Stage 2
While your little brother is tobogganing here, you can explore Valmorel’s other themed areas.
Stage 3
Head for the Biollène chairlift:
Stage 4
At the top, stop to pose in front of the photo spot with the Lauzière massif and the Col de la Madeleine in the background.
Stage 5
Just below the finish of the Biollène chairlift, take to the Pirates boardercross (level S).
A succession of whoops and banked turns for the ultimate thrill.
Stage 6
In this zone, take a 2nd turn on the Biollène chairlift to visit the Pirates snowpark: 2 zones are available depending on your level, on either side of the blue COMBE DE BEAUDIN slope.
Stage 7
Take the Madeleine and Mollaret chairlifts to St Francois-Longchamp and discover Boris’lair.
Stage 8
Or the Opoualand slope, from the Lune Bleue chairlift.
Stage 9
For lunch, meet up with Grandma, Grandpa and little brother at the Pirates Village for a picnic in the sun.
Stage 10
After freshening up, head for the Morel slope to reach the Pierrafort sector.
At the top of the gondola of the same name is the start of the Chemin des Pirates, which winds all the way to Valmorel:
