Stage 1

Departure from Valmorel with the Pierrafort gondola located in the hamlet of Crève-Cœur.

Stage 2

Once you have exited the gondola, put on your skis and off you go! Continue uphill with the Mottet chairlift.

Stage 3

At the top of the Mottet chairlift, take a moment to contemplate the 360° view of Mont Blanc, the Belleville valley and Lauzière. To the right of the chairlift, you willl see a photopoint. Take the opportunity to capture the moment!

Stage 4

Take the left from the chairlift and set off on the Mottet Freeride! A challenging black run with bumps!

Stage 5

Continue down the red run Combe du Mottet. At the top of the Pierrafort gondola, turn left onto the blue slope: Les Lanches.

Continue down the trail to the Gollet drag lift. Grab hold of the lift and set off up the Col du Gollet. In 5 minutes, you will be at the summit.

Stage 7

The choice is yours: black, red or freeride? The 3 ski runs promise different but intense sensations! If you are not sure, why not do all three?

Stage 8

After one – or more – intense runs, head for the Pierrafort gondola. Once at the top, head for the Mottet chairlift.

Stage 9

Turn right out of the Mottet chairlift and head for the legendary Riondet drag lift! Snowboarders beware: be accompanied by a skier who can support you on the flat or hang on to the Pélèves telecord.  This isolated drag lift is sure to delight skiers in search of adventure!

Stage 10

To warm up, you can take the black Riondet slope, which runs alongside the drag lift. Then (re)take the Riondet drag lift and this time, head off in the direction of the Riondet Freeride. This slope is accessible after a false flat path (courage for snowboarders, but it’s worth it!). At the end of the path, you will find one of the most difficult and beautiful runs in the Grand Domaine!

Stage 11

After a sporty descent, relax and take the blue slope Grande Combe, then the Valette towards the Madeleine chairlift.

Stage 12

At the top of the Madeleine chairlift, take the blue slope Grande Combe. After a few meters, on your right is the Procureuse Freeride run. A challenging, yet fun, black run! Let’s go for the bumps!

Stage 13

Return to the start of the Madeleine chairlift via the Madeleine blue run. Off you go again! At the top of the Madeleine chairlift, take the blue slope Piste du Col on the Saint-François Longchamp side. Keep to the right to take the green run Route du Tour. This is long, flat ski run is passing over the famous Col de la Madeleine, which will take you to the start point of the Lauzière chairlift.

Stage 14

Take the Lauzière chairlift and enjoy the breathtaking view over the Maurienne valley. Take a good look around – you might come across some mountaineering garden gnomes!

 

At the top, take the red run Colombe. After a few meters, there is a wall on your right giving access to the black Lauzière run. Once at the bottom, take the Lauzière chairlift.

Stage 15

Village de Valmorel

Back at the top of the Lauzière, take the red Colombe slope to the Col de la Madeleine and return to Valmorel
