Ski itinerary: the best of Valmorel in 4h

Half a day on the blue runs to get your legs under you

Skipass : Valmorel

Stage 1

Departure from Valmorel Village via the Planchamp gondola, at the end of the pedestrianised Rue du Bourg.

Stage 2

At the top, turn right towards the Biollène chairlift via the Combe de Beaudin.

Stage 3

At the summit, stop to pose in front of the photo spot with the Lauzière massif and the Col de la Madeleine in the background.

Stage 4

Take the blue Arenouillaz piste to the Gelaz ski lift.

Stage 5

Head for Doucy, following Montolivet and then the green Chantemerle trail through the forest to the village of Doucy.

Stage 6

Return via the Combelouvière chairlift and the Charmettes ski lift, at the top of which you can take a picnic break in sublime surroundings. Return to Valmorel via the Montolivet drag lift. Then follow the Gelaz drag lift back to the Biollène chairlift.

Stage 7

On arrival, follow the Combe de Beaudin, keeping well to the right, before branching off onto the blue piste at La Froide.

Stage 8

After crossing the Morel stream, continue through the forest towards Le Plan du Favre and Les Lanches. If you’re not too tired, take the Pierrafort gondola back up.

Stage 9

For a nice long descent to Les Lanches, turn off towards Tufs.

Stage 10

At the Club Med level, pass in front of the Restaurant Le Chalet du Mottet to ski through the hamlets of Valmorel.
